I don’t always answer calls on my landline that I can see are from Kaiser because it’s usually just a notification that my refill request has been approved and shipped. But I chose to answer this call. He identified himself by name and that he was calling from Dr. Kalra’s office regarding my medication. The *only* medication he wanted to discuss, however, was Lyrica. He asked if I was still taking 2 50mg capsules twice a day. I said, yes and no. “I’m taking 3 50mg capsules twice a day.” He wanted to change it to 1 150mg capsule twice a day. My hesitation was that it would complicate things should there ever come a time that I wanted to decrease the dosage. But this guy wouldn’t understand that, so I said, Okay. I did ask if changing too 1 capsule twice a day would affect my cost, and he said, No.
