Linda and I spent an hour after supper last night discussing candidates (easy) and issues (harder) and filled out sample ballots to take with us to the polls tomorrow. Feels like studying for a major exam but we can take our class notes in with us! At least we know we will not be cancelling out each other’s vote on anything.
Another migraine at 5:30 a.m. Suddenly, I have an epiphany! I had tofu with soy sauce for supper! Now, I will have to test again only this time use tamari (wheat-free) soy sauce and see what happens. So I will get some rice cauliflower at Trader Joe’s today and maybe make some fried rice.
But we made it to our polling place (in the mobile home community clubhouse 1 1/2 blocks from our house). There was NO line! It was just a tiring effort for Linda to walk in with her crutches (since her scooter has been broken for 4 weeks). I had to carry Emily in a shoulder sling bag while I stood up to fill in the ballot. At least Linda had a chair to sit down in.
After we were home and I had brought in the groceries, Thrifty Medical called Linda to tell her that her scooter was fixed and ready for her to pick it up. I guess we’ll do that tomorrow before we go to Tracy.

We had a lovely day in Tracy and a reasonably pleasant drive, drinking hot coffee and petting Emily. With sufficient tramadol and Lyrica, I can function above my pain when playing with Alex. Linda had an energy shot. I’m still feeling pretty depressed about Harborside’s lack of Select brand 1:1 tinctures.

Today I decided it was time to go to Harborside, to try to talk to a Consultant, and make a decision about a 1:1 CBD/THC tincture. After consulting with a friendly young black woman, I decided on Humboldt Apothecary “Uplift” 1 oz. And the familiar 5 mg dark chocolate espresso bites to supplement.
