“Calm Mind Calm Body” apparently is the name of the Tuesday drop-in group. Today Julie White (Pain Psychologist) facilitated the first half hour, starting with 10 minutes of guided meditation and it was very reminiscent of the original Pain Management Program, back in the “old days” when we met in person 3 days a week for 5 weeks.
Then she had a 20-minute presentation and discussion.
Finally, Francis did 30 minutes of Tai Chi. I discovered today that he could see the class participants (unless we turned off our cameras), but I didn’t mind, and I did the movements as he instructed. I could also see what other attendees were doing them and who wasn’t!
As usual, I didn’t say anything. But, at the end, I sent a “chat” message to Francis and Julie and just said, “Thank you.” I so needed this today after having such a crappy day yesterday!
