It has been barely a week since my first physical therapy appointment with Carole. I have been doing my neck exercises as assigned and I did log on to the place where I could see video clips of the exercises. I found that to be helpful.
Carole had me sit on the exam table and took measurements again of my range of motion in all 6 different directions. She assigned two new exercises to be done in addition to the first two. And once again she had me lie down on the exam table, face down through the hole, while she did that Thing to my cervical spine. It was amazing! And once again I felt significant pain relief which would last several hours after the appointment. And, again, she gave me a computer printout of the new exercises.
We did talk some. Since I now have my medical cannabis card, this is uppermost on my mind. I felt safe enough talking with Carole about my thinking about cannabis. She listened and didn’t judge. This second session, however, was only 30 minutes.
Before I left, she told me to make my next appointment for 2 weeks. But when I got to the front desk, she saw that the Thursday of the second week is Thanksgiving! So I made the appointment for the Friday after Thanksgiving.
