Another month has passed. I have met my goals for February in keeping daily carbs under 75 grams and calories under 1800. My average blood glucose readings have not dropped much (from 146 to 140), but my fasting blood glucose average has dropped from 160 to 138.
I have recorded my water intake and averaged 1.74 cups per day—a long way from the 8-cup minimum, but halfway toward my intermediate goal of 4 cups. I have recorded minutes of daily exercise and have averaged 16 minutes a day. I need to step it up a bit! Literally.
I have reset my March goals for under 50 grams of carb per day and calories 1500 or less. I have not lost any weight yet, but Linda has lost 15 lbs. eating the way I cook! I think I’ll reset my maximum HumulinN dosage to 30, both morning and bedtime and see how that works out.
