By Pauline Wendy Phillips

On one grandma’s side of the family, a legally blind scout for the Union during the Civil War once disguised himself in female clothing to escape the Confederates when he was in enemy territory. But I hardly think that counts in this story. Or does it?

I hope this expose of my 67 years of life from birth till 1999 will help transgenders/intersexuals and their significant others, in general, and transsexuals/hermaphrodites/pseudohermaphrodites and their significant others, in particular, and anyone else concerned with intersexism, transgenderism, or transsexualism in any way to deal with all transgenders/intersexuals in a caring, compassionate, constructive, loving, and positive manner.
