Today started at 0-dark thirty to get to Alameda by 8 o’clock and into Trader Joe’s senior line, which was the shortest today that I’ve ever seen it, only back to the South Shore administrative offices. My shopping went fairly quickly and they had everything on my grocery list. Except for what I knew I wanted from Safeway, which included one single zucchini and one single yellow summer squash, to make the au gratin recipe for supper tonight. After Safeway, it was a four-dozen week at the egg vendor, and a single doughnut from Donut Petit for Linda.
We got home early enough that I had some time to do some work on Arlene Taylor’s website before the pain group online at 4:00 p.m.
Julie Whitehead led the meditation and discussion today. I always love it when she’s the presenter! I love how she does the 10-minute meditation, and I can really get into it with her. Then she had a presentation on “Creating Healthy Boundaries.”
Francis presented 4 “gentle movement” exercises from QiGong, first done sitting then standing. He gave us this video for practice during this next week.
For supper, I made the “Summer Squash au Gratin” and Linda even had a small helping. (Sorry, no pics. I was too hungry!)
