The Month From Hell

Posted on March 2, 2023March 2, 2023 by Jacquie

February 2023 was The Month From Hell! First, there were the 2022 tax returns to deal with. Then Microsoft uploaded a new version of Edge which hijacked my whole computer. Current Stressor

Posted on January 13, 2023January 13, 2023 by Jacquie

Today is Friday the 13th, but this current stressor started last Monday, the first day after my 7-day Keto Challenge with Dr. Eric Westman that I did on January 2-8. I lost 6 lbs and lowered my fasting blood sugar from 202 to 114. It actually kept going down to 94, which it was yesterday….

Stress

Posted on March 17, 2015June 19, 2021 by Jacquie

Evidence that stress has a direct effect on blood sugar: I checked BG 90 min. after dinner and it was 113. Then I had 4 hrs of a VERY stressful evening (related to work—I work at home) and bedtime BG was 174! YIKES!! Took an extra metformin even though it’s above the maximum daily dosage….
